S'intecciu large carpet
The artefact
This large carpet in Sardinian wool reinterprets in the prized and distinctive decorations the textile modules of the designer-artist Eugenio Tavolara, especially designed in the 1950s for the village of Bolotana, and it witnesses an important period in the history of the island marked by the revival and innovation of local craftsmanship. Realised with technical virtuosity, it is handcrafted with polychrome wools obtained from natural dyes. The carpet can be customised in size, colour and detail.
