Mediterranean Carpet

The artefact

The design of the large carpet that uses traditional weaving techniques is inspired by the marine world, providing transparencies and vibrations to the entire compositional design. It has a highly symbolic value, with a vertical line represents the ideal bridge connecting the two continents, Europe and Africa, in a live stream of exchange and communication. Being made of Sardinian wool, cotton and linen, the carpet is part of the Mediterranean collection on the creative project published by designer Paulina Herrera.
