A Mora ring
The artefact
A distinctive element of the goldsmith tradition of the island, this striking anello a mora (blackberry-shaped ring) in gold and silver, typical of Cagliari, is characterised by its dome shape with many pink cut garnet bezels. Entirely handcrafted, it has ears of corn engravings and it is an expression of this goldsmith's technical skill and mastery.
