Morning carpet

The artefact

The motif of this large carpet poetically reinterprets iconographic elements of the rich textile collection of the island in a contemporary key. Handcrafted according to the tutto pieno (full bodied) pibiones relief technique using Sardinian wool yarns dyed with natural colours, this carpet is based on the design by Carolina Melis, especially designed for the Su Trobasciu textile workshop.
